What is The LOOS SCROOZ Show? Live Improv Comedy. Similar to the hit TV show "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" with an added twist. Audience Participation. In each show we will occasionally bring members of the audience on stage to give it a try. Don't worry, we do it in a way that lets you be funny even if you've never been on stage before. Having your friends up there really adds to the "danger" of the show. It's often the most exciting part of the show! The Cast. Each show is individually cast from a very select group of some of the country's most highly talented improv comedy artists. The Audiences. The LOOS SCROOZ Show has played to exuberant crowds at colleges, universities, primary and secondary schools, summer camps, senior centers, churches, synagogues and clubs around the country. What do you get when you book a show? What do you want? We've got: TRADITIONAL ENTERTAINMENT. Three of the Loos Scrooz will come to your site and do a one-hour show. If you want a longer show, or two shorter shows, or two shows on separate days or whatever variation on that theme you need, you can have it. Price will be adjusted accoordingly and negotiated beforehand. EDUCATION. You can also book a workshop in improvisational techniques. In the past, we have been asked to do workshops in acting classes, for college events, at summer camps, wherever there is an interest in learning to participate openly and to think on your feet. Three of the Loos Scrooz will teach your participants some of the games, and work with them to develop their skill in playing them. If you book a workshop and a show, you can arrange for your new improv actors to appear on-stage with the Loos Scrooz. FACILITATION. Improv groups are frequently used in corporate and educational events when it is necessary to demonstrate examples of interpersonal relations. Recently we have helped summer camp counselors as well as corporate managers prepare for the wealth of situations they will encounter in their jobs. A member of the LOOS SCROOZ will work with you to develop a way of working that is useful to your situation. What is it going to cost? It depends on what you want.
